Apollo Program

Apollo Program

Our Father joined the Apollo Program in 1967 and trained with IBM until his first launch Apollo 8 in December of 1968.

Our Father was only 23 years old. I was 4 months old, when he helped launch Apollo 8 around the Moon so the Crew could read Genesis to Earthing's from Lunar Orbit!

I was 4 months old when our Father launched his first Saturn V.

Our Father helped launch Apollo 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17 and Skylab 2, 3, and 4.

Dad is in fact the reason and inspiration behind FIRING ROOM 1 Podcast Studio.

Post Launch Firing Room 1

Everyone on the Firing Room on July 16, 1969 knew EXACTLY what they had done.  When successful this Mission will have, by building on our ancestors technology, they were about to place Human firmly on the Moon.
Our father was one of only a dozen people on Earth in @FiringRoom1 to get these signatures on his LVO Manual about 1 hour after liftoff of Apollo 11.

Our Father's John W. Boze is across the top of his manual.
Wernher von Braun's signature is in the is in the JFK Box.

Dad had just turned 24 years old when he helped launch Apollo 11.

Dad's LVO Manual Cover was photocopied in the LCC that day and handed out to VIPs.

This is my copy and the copy of the VIPs that received it outside the LCC after the launch of Apollo 11.

At least 200 people received an original copy made in the LCC that day!
We hope to put an Original Copy in the Actual Firing Room 1 soon!
