Preserving the Launch of Apollo 17 Super8 Film Via Digital Transfer

This was filmed on our Father's Camera!

Our Father, an Apollo Skylab Launch Controller, was inside Firing Room 1 launching Apollo 17 so Dad let a family friend bring us onto base with his launch event base pass.

He used Dad's Super8 8mm film camera to film the Launch of Apollo 17 from on Base at Kennedy Space Center with us nearby taking in the angelic scenes!

A watermark free 1k scan version of this film is available in the Free Gratis Download section.

Digital Transfer was performed at The George Eastman Museum Film Lab in Rochester NY

Rochester is known as Image City and is the Home of Kodak, Xerox, Bausch and Lomb and many other image related industries.
