Preserving the Launch of Apollo 16 Super8 Film Via Digital Transfer

This was filmed on our Father's Camera!

Our Father, an Apollo Skylab Launch Controller, let a family friend with a base pass use his  Super8 8mm film camera to film the Launch of Apollo 16 from on Base at Kennedy Space Center.

Digital Transfer was performed at The George Eastman Museum Film Lab in Rochester NY

Rochester is known as Image City and is the Home of Kodak, Xerox, Bausch and Lomb and many other image related industries.
